So what about X Painter? I have it, but I still use PS CS3. Can't get used to it.

I couldn't get used to Painter either, as I know PS very well. But I was hitting limitations within PS that were annoying me. Brushes were a hassle. So I went back to Painter and found that after a few weeks behind the wheel, I'm getting the hang of it. I still use PS for a lot of things but for hands on painting, I'll do it in Painter.
