Tali, the sketch

Here's the original sketch for the Tali piece I did back in 2010 for anyone who's interested. I started painting from here, the combat drone came in later.
I try to work everything out in the sketch, and it's always in grey scale. This is typically what I would submit to an AD unless color comps are specified. The Tali sketch went quickly and easily, which is not common for me. Then again, it's a simple composition, and I saw it in my mind the entire time. I knew what I wanted from the beginning, which isn't always the case.
